It's the long-awaited reward for a grey and bleak winter. I just have to resist the seduction. Maine always lures me back each summer and fall and before I know it, it's early January and I'm looking down the long, cold tunnel of four to five more months of snow and ice and darkness.
But for now I am enjoying the sunshine and the over-abundant garden and the too-blue lake.
